
Cornerstone's Pranger Named NAIA Field Athlete of the Week
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Mustapha Bokpin of Cumberland (Tenn.) has been named the NAIA Men's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week, while Alexander Pranger of Cornerstone (Mich.) has been named the NAIA Men's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week. The duo was selected based on their performances from March 31-April 6 and was chosen from a pool of conference/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unaffiliated group nominees.
Athletes of the Week are announced on Wednesday on naia.org, Instagram, and X throughout the regular season.

NAIA Men's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week
Mustapha Bokpin, Cumberland (Tenn.) - FR
- Took part in the Tennessee Invite
- Placed fifth in the 100-meter dash with an "A" standard time of 10.11
- Placed fifth in the 200-meter dash in an "A" standard time of 20.72
- His time in the 100-meter is the fastest in the NAIA this spring
NAIA Men's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week
Alexander Pranger, Cornerstone (Mich.) – FR
- Took part in the GVSU Early Meet
- Won the discus with a toss of 55.18m
- His throw is an NAIA "A" standard mark
- His throw is also a school record and is the best distance in the NAIA this spring
