Hadzic, Yadao and Tucker Win Weekly WHAC Honors

The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has announced its Men's Volleyball Player of the Week Awards, presented by PCC Sports, earlier today. Student-athletes are nominated by their host institutions' sports information department and selected via a vote by conference SID's.

This week, WHAC Sports Information Directors have selected Hasan Hadzic (Goshen) as the Attacker of the Week, Brycen Yadao (SMWC) as the Defender of the Week and Zak Tucker (Siena Heights) as the Setter of the Week. Hadzic averaged 5.38 kills per set (43 total kills) and had a 10-ace game against Olivet Nazarene last week. Eight of his 10 aces against Olivet Nazarene came during a 13-0 run for the Leafs. Brycen Yadao of St. Mary-of-The-Woods was named the defender of the week for his 3.67 digs per set and two aces in the teams two 3-0 victories. Zak Tucker of Siena Heights helped the Saints to a 2-1 week with 124 assists (10.33 a/s) along with four blocks and 13 kills. This is the first award this season for all three.
