Rodriguez, Bianco, Broaster earn weekly honors

The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has announced its Men's Volleyball Player of the Week Awards, presented by PCC Sports, earlier today. Student-athletes are nominated by their host institutions' sports information department and selected via a vote by conference SID's.

This week, WHAC Sports Information Directors have selected Ernest Broaster (Cornerstone) as the Attacker of the Week, Sebastian Rodriguez (Bethel) as the Defender of the Week and Joey Bianco (Lourdes) as the Setter of the Week. Broaster led Cornerstone to a 2-0 week thanks to a 13 and 19 kill performance. He hit .381 on the week and also addded five digs and two aces. Rodriguez led Bethel to a 2-1 week with 40 digs including a 21 dig effort in a 3-1 win over Aquinas. Bianco repeats as setter of the week, leading Lourdes to a 3-0 week with 12.70 assists per set and 23 digs.
