Voloch, Noveda, Galanes win final Men's Volleyball Player of the Week honors
The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has announced its Men's Volleyball Player of the Week Awards, presented by PCC Sports, earlier today. Student-athletes are nominated by their host institutions' sports information department and selected via a vote by conference SID's.
This week, WHAC Sports Information Directors have selected David Galanes (Cornerstone) as the Attacker of the Week, Jalen Noveda (SMWC) as the Defender of the Week and Patrick Voloch (Cornerstone) as the Setter of the Week. Galanes led the Golden Eagles with 42 kills at 4.67 per set while hitting .493. Teammate Patrick Voloch had 95 assists in the 3-0 week and dished out his 3,000th career assist. Noveda helped SMWC to a 2-0 week thanks to his 3.75 digs per set. He had 16 digs in a Friday win.
