Indiana Tech's Calderon wins Wrestler of the Week

The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has announced its Wrestler of the Week award, presented by PCC Sports, earlier today. Student-athletes are nominated by their host institutions' sports information department and selected via a vote by conference SID's.

WHAC SID's have selected Indiana Tech's Allen Calderon (125 lbs) as the Wrestler of the Week. Calderon went 2-0 in WHAC dual action to help Indiana Tech to a regular season WHAC title. In doing so, he knocked of the sixth-ranked wrestler at 125 lbs in a sudden victory thriller. He finished his week with a tech fall win in a dual against Siena Heights. This is his first Wrestler of the Week Award this season.
