WHAC Qualifies Aquinas, Cornerstone, and Lawrence Tech for MXC Nationals

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - (NAIA Release) - The NAIA announced the championship field of 36 teams and 78 individuals for the 67th Annual NAIA Men's Cross Country National Championships on Nov. 18 at Apalachee Regional Park in Tallahassee, Fla. with three teams and two individuals from the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC). The field is made up of 22 automatic qualifiers and 14 at-large berths (as determined by an oversight committee).

WHAC champion Cornerstone received the league's automatic berth and was ranked 15th in the Nov. 7 poll. WHAC runner-up Aquinas was chosen as an At-Large selection along with Lawrence Tech. It's LTU's first-ever trip to nationals.

Two runners from Indiana Tech qualified as individuals in Isaac Sytsma and Justin Fleming. Sytsma finished sixth in the WHAC Meet and Fleming was 15th.
