Voyles and Ireland win WHAC Runner of the Week Honors

The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has announced its first Runner of the Week awards, presented by PCC Sports earlier today. Student-athletes are nominated by their host institutions' sports information department and selected via a vote by conference SID's. 

WHAC SID's have selected Andrew Ireland from Aquinas for the Men's Runner of the Week award and Lisa Voyles of Indiana Tech for the Women's Award. Both individuals took part in their respective race at the Indiana Wesleyan Twilight Invite and had stellar performances. Ireland finished 7th of 196 runners with an 8k time of 25:08.70. The Saints finished 2nd of 15 teams and their 2:07.12 was the fifth fastest time in team history. Voyles finished 6th of 134 runners with a 6k time of 22:34.21, breaking the school record in the process. The Warriors finished 4th of 13 teams.
