Aquinas 19th at 2023 NAIA Cross Country Nationals
VANCOUVER, Wash. - (NAIA Release) Aquinas was the lone team from the WHAC to qualify for NAIA Men's Cross Country Nationals and they delivered with a top-20 finish for their efforts. The WHAC-champion Saints were led by junior Edward Frey who checked in at 75th with a 26:03.6 in the 8k race. Aquinas finished with 491 points. The top-finishing WHAC runner was Newcomer of the Year and individual qualifier Mehdi Nait Hamoud of Madonna who finished 57th with a time of 25:52.0. Teammate Mohamed Salaheddine Ensaad was close behind in 65th place with a 25:57.0. The top 40 finishers earned All-American honors.
