Softball Weekly Awards to McAlinden and Mullenax
The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) named Shannon McAlinden of Concordia and UNOH's Jaylyn Mullenax as the weekly award winners for softball. The pair were chosed based on their performance for the time period of April 17-23, 2023.
McAlinden scored Player of the Week after batting .556 with three home runs and seven RBI. The junior finished the week with a 1.222 slugging percentage and stole five bases.
Mullenax picked up Pitcher of the Week with three wins - two of which were complete-game shutouts. In 15 innings of work, the freshman struck out five while allowing just two earned runs.
