2023 Softball Tournament Bracket Released

SYLVANIA, Ohio - (TOURNAMENT PAGE) - The bracket for the 2023 Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Softball Tournament hosted by Lourdes University at Pacesetter Park May 3-5 has been set. Indiana Tech takes the top seed as the Warriors won their first-ever regular-season championship with an 18-4 WHAC record. UNOH (16-6) takes the second seed after winning the head-to-head tiebreark with Concordia. Concordia (16-6) takes the third seed while  Madonna sits in the fourth spot with a WHAC record of 15-7).

The next two seeds have Aquinas (14-8) at fifth and defending tournament champ UM-Dearborn at sixth (13-9). Cornerstone (11-11) and Lawrence Tech (10-12) round out the final two spts. 

The double-elimination tournament starts May 3 with all eight teams playing at 4 p.m. The next round of games are at 6:30 p.m. that same night. May 8 has been reserved as the inclement weather date.

As conference champion, Indiana Tech claims the WHAC's first automatic berth to the NAIA Softball National Championship Opening Round. The winner of the WHAC tournament (tournament runner-up if IT wins the tournament) receives the second auto bid.
