Softball Sees 98 named Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - (NAIA Release) - The NAIA released the 2023 Daktronics NAIA Softball Scholar-Athletes with 98 from the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) named. The 2023 list features student-athletes that have been nominated by an institution’s head coach or sports information director, maintained a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, appeared on the eligibility certificate for the sport, and attended one full year at said institution.

Madonna had the most honorees for the WHAC with 14 named. Cleary followed with 12 and Cornerstone placed 11. Concordia and Siena Heights each saw 10 nominees while Aquinas, Indiana Tech, and Lourdes all had eight apiece. Seven from UM-Dearborn were named along with five each from Lawrence Tech and UNOH.
