Concordia's Underwood, Aquinas' Myers win Player of the Week

The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has announced its Softball Players of the Week, presented by PCC Sports, earlier today. Student-athletes are nominated by their host institutions' sports information department and selected via a vote by conference SID's.

WHAC SID's have selected Emilee Underwood (Concordia) as the Pitcher of the Week and Haley Myers (Aquinas) as the Player of the Week. Underwood tossed a no-hitter, the first for the program since 2007, and picked up two complete game wins on the weekend. In total she allowed just one run on three hits with eight strikeouts. Myers went 7-for-11 at the plate with four runs scored, a pair of RBI and a stolen base to lead Aquinas to a trio of wins.
