UNOH's Binyahya Wins Women's Golfer of the Week

The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has announced its Golfer of the Week awards, presented by PCC Sports, earlier today. Student-athletes are nominated by their host institutions' sports information department and selected via a vote by conference SID's.

This week, WHAC SIDs have chosen UNOH's Sharifah Binyahya as the Golfer of the Week. Binyahya wins her eight honor this season, which ties her for the conference record for career player of the week honors. The native of Malaysia won the LTU Shootout at Stonehedge last weekend shooting 76, 67 on the par 72 course. This was her fifth individual medal in eight events this season and the 67 is the lowest single round in program history.
