LTU's Vetchayanvivat Named NAIA 3rd Team All-American

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - (NAIA ReleaseTanawan Vetchayanvivat, a sophomore golfer from Bangkok, Thailand, representing Lawrence Tech University's Blue Devils, has been recognized as an NAIA Third Team All-American.

Vetchayanvivat's season includes three wins, one of which was at the WHAC Championship. This pivotal victory not only showcased her skills but also led the Blue Devils to qualify for the NAIA National Championship. Throughout the season, she managed to place in the top three in six competitions, demonstrating consistent excellence and resilience on the course.

Additionally, her outstanding performance earned her three WHAC Player of the Week Awards and the prestigious title of WHAC Golfer of the Year. Her contributions to the team were further recognized by her inclusion in the WHAC First Team All-Conference, underscoring her role as a key player for the Blue Devils.

The NAIA Women's Golf season and the 30th national championship are etched in record books, and Thursday, the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) named its 2024-25 Women's Golf All-America teams, headlined by six total honorees from national champion British Columbia.

UBC head coach Chris MacDonald is the 2024-25 NAIA Women's Golf Coach of the Year, joined by four Thunderbirds – Elizabeth Labbe, Grace Bell, Una Chou, and individual national champion Jessica Ng – as First-Team NAIA All-Americans. UBC's Bo Brown was also honored, as a Second-Team NAIA All-American.

2024-25 runner up Keiser (Fla.) and SCAD Savannah (Ga.) each had three First-Team honorees, and both added a fourth All-American, each, on either the Second or Third Teams.

The 2024-25 NAIA Women's Golf Player of the Year will be announced on NAIA.org following the Women's Golf Coaches Association's announcement of Players of the Year across all divisions of collegiate golf.
