Lawrence Tech Repeats as Women's Lacrosse Champion

Lawrence Tech repeated as the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Women's Lacrosse champions after going undefeated in the 2023 WHAC season. LTU's 9-0 season matched last year's mark and is the sixth time the champion went unscathed. It's the third overall championship for the Blue Devils after they tied with Davenport for the title in 2017.

The crown came down to the final game of the regular season as Lawrence Tech held a one-game lead over Aquinas and Marian in the WHAC standings. While most games finished in the afternoon, LTU and Marian had an evening showdown that would determine if the Blue Devils were out-right champions or if LTU, Aquinas, and Marian finished in a three-way tie for the title.

The two teams were tied 10-10 heading into the final quarter before LTU scored five in the final quarter to lock up the win and the championship. With the title, the Blue Devils now sit as the top seed in the upcoming WHAC Tournament slated for April 18, 20, and 22 on campus sights.
