Rawski and Burke Grab WLAX Players of the Week honors
The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) named Joelle Rawski of Lourdes and Bella Burke of Lawrence Tech as its Women's Lacrosse Players of the Week.
Rawski took offensive honors with 14 goals and an assist to lead the Gray Wolves. The freshman grabbed four ground balls and also caused one turnover in a pair of games.
Burke repeated on the defensive side with 16 ground balls and 15 draw controls while scoring seven goals. The midfielder also cause seven turnovers during the two wins.
