#5 Bethel and #3 Marian advance to WHAC Tournament Semifinals

An overtime upset and top-seed advancing took place on Tuesday in the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Women's Lacrosse Tournament opening round. #5 seed Bethel made the trip to Ann Arbor and won an overtime thriller against the #4 seed host Concordia team, 11-10. #3 Marian took care of business, dispatching #6 Siena Heights 16-10 in Indianapolis. Bethel advances for a meeting with regular season champion, Lawrence Tech on Thursday, April 10 at 6 p.m. #2 Indiana Tech will host #3 Marian in Fort Wayne at 5 p.m. on Thursday. The winners will face off at the site of the highest remaining seed for the tournament finals on Saturday. Gametime for that day is TBA.
