Lawrence Tech Earns #6 Seed in NAIA Women's Lacrosse Championship

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – [Selection Show | Bracket] The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has officially announced the qualifiers and game times for the 2025 NAIA Women's Lacrosse National Championship hosted by the Savannah Sports Council. The eight-team field will get underway in their quest to claim the red banner in Savannah Ga., with games beginning on Wednesday, April 30 and running through May 3rd, where a NAIA National Champion will be crowned at Memorial Stadium.

This year's championship field includes four automatic qualifiers and four at-large selections. Automatic berths were given to teams that won their respective conference tournament title. The NAIA Women's Lacrosse National Selection Committee determined the four at-large bids. This committee consists of NAIA Head Coaches and administrators from around the country.

The NAIA Women's Lacrosse Championship is broadcast FREE on Urban Edge Network and the newly redesigned NAIA Network for all matches in Savannah, Ga. 

Qualifier Highlights

• Seven teams return to the field after making the 2024 national championship, including: Keiser (Fla.), Benedictine (Kan.), SCAD Savannah (Ga.), Cumberlands (Ky.), Reinhardt (Ga.), Missouri Baptist, and Lawrence Tech (Mich.).
• Life (Ga.) makes its fourth appearance in the tournament field after a two-year hiatus.
• The Sun Conference leads all women's lacrosse conferences with three teams qualifying, while the Heart of America Conference and Appalachian Athletic Conference follow with two each.
• Four previous champions re-enter the field with Keiser (Fla.), Benedictine (Kan.), Lawrence Tech (Mich.), and most recently, Reinhardt (Ga.) having taken a red banner back to its campus in the past.
• The eight team field has a played a collective 136 games this season with a combined record of 107-29 for a total win percentage of 78.7.
• Five teams have an animal as their mascot: Keiser Seahawks, SCAD Savannah Bees, Benedictine Ravens, Reinhardt Eagles, and Life Running Eagles.
