Aquinas Claims Women's Soccer Championship

Aquinas marched through the regular season not dropping a match to claim the 2022 Women's Soccer title. It's the Saints third consecutive and sixth overall crown. AQ posted a perfect 11-0-0 season and finished with 33 points. The regular-season champion is determined by point system with three points for a win, zero points for a loss, and one point for a tie.

Madonna finished second with 28 points at 9-1-1 while UNOH (6-3-2) and Lawrence Tech (5-1-5) tied for third with 20 points each. Lourdes (6-4-1) and Siena Heights (5-2-4) tied at 19 points for fifth place and Rochester landed in seventh with 13 points and a 4-6-1 WHAC record. Indiana Tech, Cornerstone, UM-Dearborn, and Concordial all posted 2-7-2 records to tie for eighth with Cleary finishing at 1-10 for 12th place.

With the title, Aquinas will be the top seed in the upcoming WHAC Women's Soccer Tournament that starts Nov. 2 at higher seed sites.
