Cornerstone Wins Women's Tennis Title

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - After finishing in the runner-up spot last season, Cornerstone won the 2023 Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Women's Tennis Championship with an undefeated league record. The Golden Eagles went 6-0 to capture their first-ever women's tennis title and dropped only 4 matches in the six contests.

Two-time defending champion Indiana Tech finished as runner-up with a 5-1 record and UNOH, who has the most titles with four, rounded out the top three with a 4-2 mark.

Lawrence Tech finished fourth with a .500 record of 3-3 while Lourdes won on the final day to land in fifth at 2-4. Aquinas (1-5) and Concordia (0-6) filled out the last two spots

Cornerstone now sits as the top seed heading into the WHAC Women's Tennis Tournament hosted by Lourdes April 28-29 at Shadow Valley Tennis Club in Maumee, Ohio.
