Women's Indoor Awards to Warthen and Fugate
The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) named Jamaya Warthen of Indiana Tech and Tyler Fugate of Siena Heights as its Women's Indoor Athletes of the Week. Warthen took Track Athlete of the Week after winning both the 60m and 200m at the Warrior Indoor Invitational - the first-ever meet in Indiana Tech's new facility. Fugate repeated as Field Athlete of the Week with her top mark of the seaon in winning the pole vault at the Warrior Indoor Invitational.
