Indiana Tech's Webster-Freeman named NAIA Women's Indoor Field Athlete of the Week

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - (NAIA Release) - The NAIA named Juanita Webster-Freeman of Indiana Tech as the National Field Athlete of the Week. The redshirt sophomore set the school record in Pentathlon, posting the best mark in the NAIA this season by almost 500 points. She was the top college finisher at the Illini Challenge, losing only to an unattached pro. She topped competitors from the University of Wisconsin and the University of Illinois, among others.

She's the second WHAC athlete to earn a national award this season. Teammate Lisa Voyles won the national track award on Jan. 19.
