
Mbouge and Jackson named Women's Indoor Athletes of the Week
The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has announced its Indoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week, presented by PCC Sports, earlier today. Student-athletes are nominated by their host institutions' sports information department and selected via a vote by conference SID's.
WHAC SID's have selected Faith Jackson (Siena Heights) as the Track Athlete of the Week and Deanara Mbouge (Indiana Tech) as the Field Athlete of the Week. Jackson won the 60 hurdles at the Trine Mrs. G invite with a time of 8.62, an NAIA A standard. She also finished third in the 60m with a time of 7.99. Mbouge won the weight throw at the same meet, hitting an A-standard mark of 17.35m in the process.
