Longueuay and Hamilton Named Women's Outdoor Athletes of the Week

The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has announced its Outdoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week, presented by PCC Sports, earlier today. Student-athletes are nominated by their host institutions' sports information department and selected via a vote by conference SID's. 

WHAC SID's have selected Lauren Hamilton (Madonna) as the Track Athlete of the Week and Emma Longueuay (Indiana Tech) as the Field Athlete of the Week. Hamilton won the 400m at the Golden Grizzlies Invite hosted by Oakland. She won the event with a time of 58.28. Longueuay also picked up a win, earning top honors in the Javelin with a throw of 39.23m at the Indiana Tech Open. Both win their first outdoor weekly honors.

Charity Jones (Madonna) - Track Athlete of the Week
Isabella DeLong (Lawrence Tech) - Field Athlete of the Week 

4/7:
Lauren Hamilton (Madonna) - Track Athlete of the Week
Emma Longueuay (Indiana Tech) - Field Athelte of the Week
