Aquinas, Cornerstone, Indiana Tech Qualify for NAIA WXC Nationals

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - (NAIA Release) - The 36 team, 80 individuals in the championship field have been announced for the 43rd Annual NAIA Women's Cross Country National Championship on Nov. 18 at Apalachee Regional Park in Tallahassee, Fla. included three Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference teams along with one individual qualifier. he field is made up of 24 automatic qualifiers and 12 at-large berths (as determined by an oversight committee). In addition to the team qualifiers and at-large bids, 80 athletes will compete as individual qualifiers.

Cornerstone took the WHAC's automatic berth by winning the conference championships. The Golden Eagles have been ranked all season and look to compete for a top-5 finish. Indiana Tech finished second at the WHAC Meet and was an At-Large selection to nationals. Aquinas also received an At-Large berth after finishing third in the WHAC.

Jacqueline Albo Lawrence Tech was the lone individual qualifier from the WHAC. She finished 12th in the WHAC race.
