Cornerstone's Haley Nieuwkoop Wins First WHAC Runner of the Week Award

The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has announced its first Runner of the Week awards, presented by PCC Sports earlier today. Student-athletes are nominated by their host institutions' sports information department and selected via a vote by conference SID's.

The first Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Runner of the Week Award, presented by PCC Sports, was released by the conference office on Monday afternoon. Cornerstone's Haley Nieuwkoop took home the honor for her 12th place finish in the Jeff Drenth Memorial Classic, hosted by Central Michigan. Nieuwkoop finished with a mark of 18:21 in the rare 5k event. The mark was 16 seconds off her PR and a program top-10 mark.
