NAIA Honors Four with Women's Basketball All-American Honors

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - (NAIA Release) - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced the 2022-23 Women's Basketball All-America Teams with four from the WHAC honored. All of the selections are made by the All-America Committee and are comprised of first, second and third teams as well as honorable mention. There are 12 members on each of the first three All-America teams.

WHAC Player of the Year Kyra Whitake of Indiana Tech earned Second Team honors. The senior averaged 16.3 points, 2.6 assists, and 2.5 rebounds per game.

Sha'kyia Parker of Siena Heights was named to the Third Team after leading SHU in scoring with 17.9 points while grabbing 2.7 rebounds per game. 

Indiana Tech's Erika Foy and Siena Heights' Peyton Banks earned Honorable Mention. Foy led the NAIA with 9.8 rebounds per game. Banks, a four-time WHAC First-Teamer, leaves SHU as the Saints' all-time leading scorer for both men and women. She finished with 2,193 career points.
